With a definite purpose and authorization to stimulate economic revival, South African Tourism heads a team of exhibitors comprised of South African entrepreneurs and officials to IMEX Frankfurt in Germany. The revival of South Africa’s business events industry is progressing positively, as an array of international and regional business events have been secured. The country is determined to secure additional events. IMEX Frankfurt, one of the largest trade shows in Europe for the business events industry, started on Tuesday. Team South Africa, led by South African Tourism, presented a clear message of a capable and attractive South Africa prepared to host events of all sizes. South African Tourism is heading a group of exhibitors, including South African business owners and officials, to showcase the country’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) products. IMEX Frankfurt brings together global event planners and over 1000 buyers with significant buying power, and South African Tourism is determined to drive economic recovery. “We attend trade shows such as IMEX Frankfurt with a bold and unambiguous goal of getting even more business events hosted in South Africa.
