What are the errors which I can make in the work with continuous and discrete data?

When a continuous and discrete data are analysed, do not treat a continuous variable as discrete (such as rounding all weights to the nearest whole number) since you lose information and you run the risk of making the incorrect analysis. Also do not assume that discrete data can be treated like continuous data (e.g. as count of items being infinitely divisible) since the assumptions do not work. Correct choice of models by separating continuous and discrete types promises the right results and interpretation of the results.
