[RSS] Teck kills separation vote, leaves door open for suitors

Teck Resources Ltd. said it will not go ahead with a key shareholder vote on its plan to separate its metals and steelmaking coal businesses into two companies. The announcement came just hours ahead of the company's annual meeting and may be seen as a win for Glencore in its ongoing campaign to acquire the Vancouver-based mining company.
